Blog of the Week: That embarrassing moment when…by The Mini Mes and Me

Blog of the Week

This fabulous little homework assignment caught our eye this week and we couldn’t help but share it with you.

Luckily Emma from The Mini Mes and Me found it amusing – otherwise her little darling might have been re-doing his sentences!

That embarrassing moment when…

… your son’s homework includes details about how you dance in your underwear and run about in a onesie. Oh the shame! He hasn’t missed off the Mr either, describing how he laughs when he farts.

His homework was to write his spellings, verbs, into sentences and that he has done. Perhaps his choice of sentences could have been better but I did find it amusing… I’m sure his teacher will too!

Have your children ever written or drawn anything in their school jotters that have made you cringe, squirm or blush?

Haha! Brilliant. Our daughter’s teacher told us of a child’s homework she received (not ours I hasten to add!) which was a picture diary of what happened at the weekend. It said, ‘Mummy got drunk and fell over. Daddy stepped over Mummy’ – accompanied with an appropriate picture. Cringe.

I have been mortified with some stuff my son has written – most of it pretty innocent, but completely made up! This takes the biscuit but you sound like a lovely mum and dad!
